The story of Starbucks, London, and Mice.

Starbucks fined over mice!

and for something who was bitten by a mouse once, this is a nightmare come true.

I really think British people should not be allowed to have Starbucks, they don't appreciate coffee anyways, and don't know how to sell it. That's what I thought last summer, but after reading this, turned out they don't... Okay, I will stop here before saying something very insulting to British people which i was going to say. I just don't like to generalize.

I've always thought Starbucks was specifically aimed at people that don't really like/know coffee.

I don't know, or can't say who it's aimed at.
Personally though, I like their cold drinks or caramel machiatto but would rather have black coffee somewhere else. My mother always says that Starbucks has "ants" in its coffee, so this story will just add to her story.

hmmm,,, Its ironic that arabs discovered drinkable coffee yet starbucks dominates coffee- culture here

I think most people would go for the atmosphere/idea of Starbucks than for the coffee itself.

ah, the lovely starbucks..
mind you i would argue neither the brits or the yanks can value coffee.. if u want the true affaciandos then look no further than the med countries which includes some arab places and italia.

starbucks has just mass-produced a centuries-old product in this american-dominated post-imerial world.
