Cadillac EXT
Which one would you rather drive? and don't say neither, please. If you don't know which one, then just say the EXT, because if you say the Escalade then one day you will have 7 kids to drive them around in this car. or whatever.

they are both escalades, but one is a SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and the other is a SUT (Sport Utility Truck), only difference is seating,both v8 engines (the ext is 6.0L and the escalade suv is 6.2 L) , the regular Escalade has more horsepower and torque capacities (at rpm).
I would choose the Escalade. Thats my opinion, and it doesn't mean I will have 7 kids or be a 'soccer mom'. The EXT is just not appealing to me, not my style.
Its popular because its a luxury truck.
People are free to have their own opinions, but there is a difference between an SUV and a Van.

ummm I'd go for the EXT, so I can kill my teachers and throw them in the trunk :P

And belated happy birthday - I would choose what you have titled the Escalade - the term 'truck' people use to refer to it has a good ring to it, methinks.
Plus, I could go on adventures with all the crazy friends in it... and my seven kids - once I marry that is ;-)
